Biography
I’m a feminist, a philosopher, and a feminist philosopher. My research is about the social world, the way we think and talk about the social world, and how those two things are related to each other and to ethics. You can find out a lot more about my research, my dissertation, and my forthcoming paper(s) here (or by clicking “research” above). One of my favorite parts about being a philosopher is teaching philosophy to others. You can find out more about my teaching here.
Other info about me: I started my Ph.D. at MIT in 2021. Earlier that year, I received my BA in philosophy with highest honors from the University of Michigan. (Here’s my thesis, which won the Robert Hayden Humanities Award.) Before that, I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Outside of philosophy, I love reading fiction, doing yoga, and spending time with animals. (To your right is a photo of me with my late best friend Hugo.)
